General Terms & Conditions of Purchase

These terms and conditions are to be read in conjunction with the specific instructions provided with each of the products. 

General Terms and Conditions

• Biological control, or the use of ‘beneficials insects’ is an effective control option for a wide range of pests.  However, correct identification of the target pest is required for proper control to occur.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure correct identification has been made.
• Incorrect handling of the beneficials can result in poor control.  Information on the correct handling is available in the product information available for each beneficial insect. Any failure in control that is a result of incorrect handling by the customer of the beneficials.
• Beneficial insects supplied by Bug Central may be killed by pesticides (including some fungicides) commonly in use.  It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that there are no chemical residues within the release area, and that no chemicals are used within the release area after release. Failure in survival of beneficials as a result of any prior or subsequent chemical exposure is the customer’s responsibility.
• Any failure in control that is a result of poor condition of the beneficials upon receipt by the customer will be remedied by Bug Central.  Such condition must be reported to Bug Central within 2 days of receipt of the product. Any liability is limited to re-supply of the beneficials only.

Delivery Process

Bug Central will advise of likely delivery dates shortly after receiving your order and payment. We aim to fill all orders within 5 working days of ordering. If customers do not receive goods within 2 business days of expected delivery date, they should contact Bug Central so orders can be tracked and delivery completed.

Privacy of Information

Bug Central utilise the Australia Post “Express Post” service or couriers, which requires that contact information including phone number and addresses are provided on parcels.  Information is not passed to any other company or person for any purpose other than delivery of your purchased products.

Email addresses are collected by Bug Central as a means of alerting the customer to any delays in orders or other matters relating to your purchase.  Bug Central may send product updates and information to customers from time to time.
